Is It Me or Simply What You See?- The Disclaimer

Hi Everyone!

Just a quick comment. I hear I'm on Twitter. Shocked as I don't even know how the damn thing works. Not me, not interested to comment, but if you hear from them, tell them I appreciate the attention. It's seriously flattering that someone thinks I'm somehow relevant. We all know I'm not. But, hey, it's nice to get the compliment.

Thanks, Fake Addison! Ya know, there was a professor I know who was the Fake Rahm Emanuel on Twitter. He got a book deal. I don't think that will happen for you, but you never know! But I don't want to take credit for your work, Fake Addison. That would be unethical and wrong.

Happy Father's Day and I'll be back at some point. Remember, I'm a twat who doesn't tweet.  I stole that from Kathy Griffin, I think.

    1. Yeah, seems they've been doing this for a while. I just wish they were better at it. They don't even sound like me. I just heard about it, so it must not be very successful. I don't have time for this much less tweeting about it. I guess they could be my TA but they'd need to interview first and work for course credit. Think they'll grade for me? I could use that. I also need someone to pack boxes. Why can't they really be helpful? They seem to have the time when I don't.

    2. I just want to say that I am glad it was only a simple coincidence. It seems that the person had that name a long time, and just had the same idea you had about using that personae as something fun to use as a moniker. I don't think malice was intended on either side, and maybe that's good enough?

    3. I guess not but I suppose I offended them. Oh well.

    4. Well, since it was all a coincidence in the first place, why not let it go at that? Maybe the offending part can come down? Just a suggestion. For me, in light of recent things in my personal life, life is just too short.

  2. I wasn't good at it because I was not, in fact, trying to imitate you. You can't use a handle like Addison DeWitt and think you own the name when it belongs to the writer who wrote All about Eve. Anyone using that name, and trust me, there are many, are all faux Addisons. And yes dear, that includes you. Moreover, I had been using that handle for years on various AOL boards, as well as on Twitter, well before I had even heard of this blog which came to my attention from a fellow OLTL fan. And you're also incorrect when you say I have been "at it" for awhile. If your eager little soap sources(Agnes Kravitz?) so desire, they can track my history and see I rarely Tweeted and when I did, it was not about soap operas. I only recently did so when my fellow OLTL viewers posted about their exchanges with Michael Logan and RC. It did not remotely occur to me that I would be perceived as trying to imitate you. You see, while I was a fan, you're not all that. People in the real world have not even heard of "Addison Speaks." I would suggest that you get over yourself before you turn into the very person you despise--Ron, who also is afflicted with a super sized ego with tinges of paranoia running through it. To paraphrase the real Addison DeWitt, (and honey, you ain't him)"You're too short for that gesture."
    Good bye.

    1. I'm sorry I offended you. I had no idea. But misunderstandings happen. Do what you need to do. I wasn't even trying to be rude. Yet, do what you need to do.
